We are a movement.
Some people view the church as an institution. Other's view it as just a gathering. Restore is a movement.
When Jesus began calling people to himself, he said "follow me". He didn't say act better, try harder, be more moral, or learn the right answers. What he commanded was that we follow.
At Restore, our goal is to follow Jesus in all aspects of our lives and to live in alignment with the way that he called us to live. It's not for some religious elite; it's for every day people who have decided that Jesus' path is better than the path they were walking on, making it up as they went. We follow Jesus in our every day lives, at work, at school, with our friends and in our neighborhoods, and invite other people to join us on our way.
See, the movement isn't about us. It's not about Restore, or any individual that goes to Restore. The movement is about Jesus. It's about the Jesus way of life. It's about who He is and what He did.

Every person has a desire to know that their actions are just or right. We have some standard by which we measure whether what we are doing is good or whether it is bad, and like a scale, we weigh our good deeds against our bad deeds to see how we measure up. In this message we'll consider the scale that the Pharisees used, and what Jesus thought about their system and how a person can truly be justified.
