The Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday. Jesus rides into the temple on a Donkey; the people wave palm branches and lay down their coats as he enters. The unlikely King. They worship, they cry out. It's the picture of celebration as Jesus enters into the Capital City, to claim his throne. Or so it appears.

Luke records the next scene in the life of Jesus, as he overlooks the City. He is weeping. "If only they understood".

In this three part series, we'll explore what it means that Jesus is the God of the City, beginning with his seemingly "triumphal" entry and ending with his real triumph, the total defeat of death.
